When will we initiate sharing our ancestral property with our sisters?

Now, the world has changed quite a lot. Sending wishes and a bunch of chocolates from Cadbury Celebrations is not enough to strengthen the loving bonds between brothers and sisters. A time has come when everyone should step ahead and revolt against society for his dear sister's rights, i.e., the right to inheritance or the right to ancestral property. You have to come forward for her real security. Gone are the days when someone vowed to guard her sister. Now girls can guard themselves and you (brothers) too. In this modern society, you can't fool your sisters just by tying a knot of 'kachha sutra' on the wrist. Sharing ₹500 to ₹2000 once a year instead of ₹50 lakh to ₹2 crore for the whole life is not a fair deal. Your sister is prudent enough like you if she has gone the way you have gone in your life, from education to work. You have also noticed her smartness at least once in a blue moon, if not always. You have also experienced that she is smarter. You can't deny this. So this is the right time to express your love in a more progressive way. Sharing ancestral property among all genders is the new demand, and we all should focus on it to deliver justice in a more revolutionized format without any conflict, keeping love in the air.

Laws can change the rules, but not the behaviors. Sometimes laws are not sufficient to change our attitudes in the right direction, and it is also true that it takes a very long time to shift our mentality to the next level. We can't wait for an auspicious change for a long time that will bring peace and tranquility to our society, where everyone will be treated equally regardless of gender, not just in the books but in the real world too. Also, we should adopt a tradition where there is a facility to tie a 'Sutra' around the wrist of the brother by the concerned sister. Because they are potent enough to protect you, whether you are younger or older. On this occasion of the holy festival, Raksha Bandhan, why should we not promise to change this conservative idea and poor mentality about the weaker gender of the female? We should always remember that they are continuously achieving greater heights in all aspects of life. They are not weak or recessive. Women have proven time and again that they possess immense strength, resilience, and capability. It is essential to break free from outdated stereotypes and acknowledge their contributions to society. By empowering women and promoting gender equality, we can create a more progressive and inclusive world for everyone.

It is crucial for individuals to take personal responsibility and actively work towards fostering a society that upholds equality and love. By promoting empathy, education, and open dialogue, we can accelerate the process of transforming societal attitudes and ensuring that gender equality becomes a lived reality for all. Together, we can create a future where love prevails over discrimination and every individual is valued for their unique contributions.
